Welcome the Nottingham Musicians Network.

We set up this social network with the sole aim of bringing together a community of bands,artists and performers who live in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire or anywhere with an NG postcode. Why? Simple....

Firstly to build a community. Nottingham is often overlooked in favour of cities such as London, Manchester and Liverpool when it comes to music,despite the fact that it is such a hotbed of musical talent. Nottingham Radio, local TV and media seems reluctant to give Nottingham music much coverage or airplay. To redress this, we need a voice. Nottingham Musicians aims to be that voice. And the larger our community is, the louder we can shout...

Secondly, to get to know other bands or artists. Think about it - a chance to share gig experiences? Which venues good and which are bad? Maybe find a band to share gigs with? Give other bands the heads up on how to get in on Nottingham-based events. Seems like a good idea to us.

Please, if you are a musician or artist, get involved. The more members we have, and the more we share, the better it is for all of us! Please, invite any bands that you know to join this community and tell them to invite any they know and so on, regardless of gentre status or style.
